Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator I is responsible for marketing, promotion, and publicity functions for a department, college, or division. Responsibilities could include creating and implementing marketing strategies using advertising, media, direct mail, and other printed material, broadcast outlets and mailing lists; overseeing the production of the materials specified in marketing plans and calendars; consulting with product and/or program development; developing budgets, and maintaining good working relations with the news media.
Additional Department Summary: Supervision and coordination of all details related to the presentation of on-campus and off-campus musical events by the School of Music faculty, students, guests, and other special events sponsored by the School of Music.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and some experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Evening, nights and weekend work required.
