Under limited supervision, reporting to the Executive Director of Annual Giving and Lead Generation (Executive Director), the Director of Integrated Marketing Strategy is responsible for the coordination and management for the development of the integrated marketing campaigns, including direct mail, email, digital ads, and other relevant channels to solicit philanthropic support for the university. This position will develop the overarching omnichannel strategy for executing and evaluating a complex set of Annual Giving solicitations for the University of South Carolina's academic units, university priorities, and special interest programs. The Director will oversee the implementation and execution of the University of South Carolina's day of giving, currently known as Give 4 Garnet. The Director plays an intricate role in establishing and delivering effective leadership, partnerships and communication with development officers and staff within central development, as well as schools and colleges. The Director will utilize Blackbaud CRM to access digital analytics tools to ensure that strategies are data-driven, personalized, timely, and consistent with the goals set forth within the Annual Giving program. This position is a key member of the Annual Giving program and is a part of the University Development team while operating within the system and procedures of Development to ensure consistent and well-coordinated activities.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 4 years proven experience major gift/development, donor relations, sales or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been acquired may be substituted.
This position may require travel overnight to conferences for continuing education and professional development. Must have a valid driver's license.
