The National Director of Marketing is responsible for strategically leading, developing, and crafting cohesive marketing strategies for Lincoln Property Company. This role is central to the success of national marketing program implementations and performance and critical to the marketing services Lincoln offers to clients and internal stakeholders alike.
Working alongside the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, the National Director of Marketing will play an integral role in preferred vendor partnerships, analysis and selection of marketing applications, and implementations of strategic marketing offerings such as Lincoln Creative and programs like SOCi.
Deepen, broaden and scale the brand strategy function within the company, serving as a brand evangelist
Apply focused brand strategy across diverse, concurrent programs, campaigns and partnerships
Ensure the national and regional marketing teams are delivering best-in-class capabilities and partnership across all departments, instilling a culture of collaboration
Collaborate with national departments (Client Services, Learning & Talent Dev. , Talent Acquisition, Benefits, etc.) to create and deploy internal and external marketing, advertising, and recruiting campaigns within brand guidelines
Work closely with the Director of Marketing Operations to understand the marketing support environment and look for opportunities to make MarTech improvements
Partner with our marketing agency and Creative Director to ideate and develop national integrated marketing content campaigns
Oversee the integration and distribution of content marketing campaign materials through all media channels; drive campaign optimization and evaluation
Serve as the champion for national marketing initiatives, programs and campaigns, working with regional operations and marketing teams to ensure successful adoption
Interface with Regional Marketing Directors to provide thought leadership on media strategies, tactics, insights and performance, as well as other emerging media opportunities
Collaborate with Regional Marketing Directors to ensure marketing standards are met or exceeded for each asset within the fund portfolio
Assist Regional Marketing Directors with performance of their marketing initiatives and plan implementation
Develop new tactics and strategies for lead generation on LincolnApts.com
Review and analyze reporting within propertyBI to find marketing trends, set goals, and watch the performance of marketing sources
Review current mandatory marketing items and recommend new providers and / or services
Manage marketing functions and processes for management transitions and new construction templates on Basecamp
Continuously review management transition processes for ways to improve and update marketing involvement
Collaborate and help manage national marketing platforms and partnerships
Communicate with owners as needed to provide an additional layer of support to regional teams
Assist with Lincoln Creative and look for opportunities to grow revenue while marketing services to client base
Assist in planning and coordination of internal and external meetings
Attend education conferences
8+ years of multifamily marketing experience preferred.
BA/BS degree required.
Must have previous experience with property management software.
Excellent written, verbal and customer service skills. Ability to persuasively express ideas and opinions to individuals and groups.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel, Canva, and Google Workspace.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Must be willing to work flexible hours/days/weekends when needed.
Analytical skills with previous experience developing strategic marketing plans.
Proven track record of achieving marketing goals and demonstrating results from previous positions.
Proven track record in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with an operations management team.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with senior executives and in teams.
