We achieve our mission by working closely with faculty to design and deliver over 130 open enrollment and custom programs to over 13,000 participants annually, from over 130 countries. Open enrollment programs range from a few days to a few weeks over a period of months, while custom engagements help largely Fortune 1000 companies implement strategic changes and build organizational capabilities. Most programs are delivered on the HBS campus, where Executive Education has nine dedicated classrooms and more than 500 dedicated bedrooms in three executive residences. To meet the diverse needs of our community, our programming now includes in-person, virtual, and blended options. The Executive Education department consists of open enrollment, global, and custom program portfolio management; guest services; marketing; corporate sales; program operations; technology services; enrollment and admissions; and finance.
As a key member of the digital marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will manage day-to-day paid and organic social media operations and strategy including campaign planning and execution, content development, publishing calendar, performance analysis, and reporting. This digital-savvy marketer will also support general advertising initiatives, team invoice processing, and budget tasks as needed.
In collaboration with the Assistant Director, Digital Marketing and program marketing teams design, execute, and manage innovative paid media marketing campaigns that differentiate HBS Executive Education in the market and contribute to driving qualified program prospects and brand awareness
Plan, execute, and manage day-to-day organic social media publishing, channel strategy, and timely community messaging (social channels include but are not limited to: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube)
Maintain and curate an engaging organic social posting calendar featuring original HBS Executive Education content, thought leadership, blog posts, community stories and more
Manage all organic social publishing, tracking, and analytics via Sprout Social management tool
Collaborate cross-functionally with Participant Marketing team to develop engaging paid and organic social campaign content as determined by brand and program needs
Liaise with team members responsible for other marketing channels to identify campaign synergies and partner on creative strategies and optimization as needed
Partner with and manage external media and creative agencies responsible for creating, executing, optimizing, and reporting on all social media campaigns
Direct outside writers, proofreaders, photographers, and other vendors as needed
Keep current with social media management standards, trends, policies, and best practices; sharing with the greater other teams as appropriate
Own quarterly, internal social media newsletter including design, content, and distribution
Support digital team budget management and invoice processing
Responsible for other duties as assigned
This role is offered as a hybrid (some combination of onsite and remote) where you are required to be onsite at our Boston, MA-based campus 3 days per week. Specific days and schedules will be determined between you and your manager.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Education beyond high school may count toward experience
5+ years of digital marketing experience with a focus on paid and organic social media strategy, content creation, and management is required
Sound knowledge and experience with all relevant social media platforms required, including but not limited to: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube is a must
Experience with Sprout Social, (or similar related social media publishing tool), Salesforce CRM, and Google Analytics preferred
Strong communication and project management skills are a must
Must be an extremely organized team player and have demonstrated initiative to improve marketing performance, use innovative marketing strategies, and collaborate across departments to improve business results.
BA/BS degree preferred
