Associate Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications

The Associate Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of robust, multi-channel, segmented marketing and paid media advertising plans that are designed to drive awareness of the College of Law's brand and programs, spur student applicant lead generation and enrollment, and activate alumni engagement. This position will report directly to the Director of Communications and Media Relations, work closely with other members of the College of Law's Advancement and External Affairs team, and collaborate with the Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management. The Associate Director will have a hands-on role in all aspects of the College's marketing, advertising, and paid media strategies, content creation and deployment, and engagement tactics to support the College's marketing goals while following established university brand standards and protocols that support school goals and target key audiences within a One University framework. In addition, the Associate Director will collaborate with Syracuse University's Division of Marketing to help advance University-wide marketing goals and inform the College's own marketing approaches. The successful candidate must possess a combination of creative, analytic, and technical skills to understand prospective law students' behaviors and expectations, and to tailor messages that respond to their needs and interests in ways that lead them to apply. This position requires strategic thinking and action, including email building and utilization of available technology/systems, design, writing and other content development, data analysis and reporting. The College of Law seeks a forward thinker and a team player, who is creative, innovative, self-confident, with high emotional intelligence and sound judgment. Position requires some work and appearances during weekends and evenings.
