As a Clinical Research Marketing Consultant you will lead, develop and oversee the research marketing and recruitment program for many divisions and departments throughout Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Your responsibilities will include the identification, creation and implementation of targeted, effective marketing and communications tactics for individual study protocols.
In this position, you will write, edit and work with design partners to create a variety of communications including flyers, handouts, brochures, other print materials, web copy, advertisement copy, social media posts, etc. You will be responsible for assessing cost estimates for design, print and production costs, will track recruitment data, assess performance of marketing tactics, and look to introduce new marketing strategies and tactics.. Finally, you will work with and develop a relationship with marketing and communications colleagues and partners with a contracted marketing agency and cultivate relationships with UC and UC Health research marketing partners, as well as other internal research groups. Responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies for external audiences to support organizational goals.
???Integrated Marketing Planning and Execution
Oversees annual strategic marketing plan creation and execution for external audiences across multiple divisions and programs.
Identifies when to modify plans based on needs and anticipates future needs
Leads cross-functional teams to execute marketing activities, including but not limited to direct marketing, digital content development, digital marketing, and advertising campaigns
Develops and implements message strategy for assigned programs
Employs project management techniques to complete marketing projects on schedule and on budget

Regularly reports project and plan status and results to clients, team and leadership

Provides strategic consultation by anticipating new work for major programs and initiatives and recommending solutions

Identifies needs for marketing research and manages that research as needed
Stays abreast of competition, industry trends and best practices and provides consultation to team and clients to make improvements

Manages vendor relationships for projects or initiatives, including agency partners, vendors and freelancers.
Bachelor's degree in a related field
5 - 7 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
