As a content strategy and email marketing manager, you will work with internal business partners and creative agencies to develop content - informed by insights and aligned with strategic objectives - to drive client and prospect interactions with advisors. A key focus will be on managing the content creation and strategic execution of email marketing campaigns. You will excel in your role due to your background and strength in content development, email marketing and journey creation. The ideal candidate is equal parts content developer and strategic email marketer. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Consumer Content Marketing
Develop the content and strategy for email journeys - along with single send emails - that drive people through the customer journey
Translate long-form article content into compelling email content that drives engagement with clients and prospects
Collaborate with business partners to test and iterate email content, providing recommendations on how to integrate Salesforce data and capitalize on Marketing Cloud capabilities
Analyze and report on email marketing performance. Iterate, identify opportunities for testing and modify campaigns to improve KPIs.
Omnichannel content marketing
Support omnichannel marketing strategies, developing content for advisor websites, email and marketing collateral
Identify opportunities to create highly visual content and partner with graphic designers to execute ideas
Manage omnichannel projects to create customized content for various channels and audiences
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5-7 years of experience in digital content development and management.
Solid understanding of front-end interactive design solutions for back-end systems.
Demonstrated ability to meet compressed deadlines and timeframes.
Experience collaborating with UX teams to create digital media, usability, information architecture, and/or interactive design.
Strong written communication skills and project management skills. Effective collaboration skills.
Interest in working in the financial services/highly regulated industry.
Experience in Financial Services
Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field
Robust experience developing email journeys and writing compelling email copy targeted to various audience segments
Familiarity with email marketing best practices and Marketing Cloud capabilities
Solid understanding of how to develop omnichannel content to support consumer journeys
Ability to influence, communicate and interact with people at all levels across the organization and with external partners
Self motivated; able to work with limited supervision
