The Senior Manager of Web and Marketing Automation is responsible for the overall website experience and email automation platform.  This candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of digital marketing tools, channels, and strategies.  This role will lead the website and email strategies in support of business goals and emerging capabilities.  They will partner closely with IT to ensure interfaces and digital health platform deliver a seamless consumer experience.   This position will work with the marketing function, supporting teams (such as project managers, programmers, and writers) and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget. In addition, the Senior Manager of Web and Marketing Automation   is required to have a firm understanding of how web, SEO/SEM, email, and social media all contribute to the overall marketing growth of an organization. This person should possess the ability to communicate web and email strategy at both the team and stakeholder levels. This strategy should be supported by developing internal metrics, KPI and other goal measurements.

Minimum Education:•Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in marketing or a related fieldMinimum Experience/Knowledge:•8+ years of experience in a digital marketing role•4+ years in a supervisory role•Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, Web, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns•Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels•Experience with digital design principles, usability and UX principles and branding best practices•Experience with SEO management and optimization•Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments•Solid knowledge of website analytics tools•Solid experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and automation•Experience with various content management systems (Wordpress, Drupal or similar)•Experience with technical project management, including vendor management•Working knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints•Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking•Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement•Vendor management and budget responsibilities for website and email servicesRequired License/Certification:•LA City Fire and Safety Certification. If no certification upon hire, must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
