The Manager, Marketing Team Member Education and Training is a member of the marketing operations work group within the U. S. national property marketing team and provides support to the U. S. property management business. This role develops, executes, and maintains the company's strategy for attracting, on-boarding, and retaining best-in-class marketing talent consistent with the Greystar Pillars of Excellence and the company's diversity and hiring practices. Core areas of focus include digital marketing, online reputation management, social media, client marketing, analytics and reporting, visual media, and other marketing disciplines.
Design property marketing curriculum and produce learning experiences that support marketing team member development and the acquisition of knowledge and skills that enable effective job performance, leadership excellence, and career advancement consistent with the company's business practices, policies, procedures, tools, and learning management system.
Collaborate with marketing team members, business leaders, and other resources to review current curriculum and maintain company's library of marketing guides, policies, job aids, tools, and templates developed by the company's subject matter experts.
Lead the planning, production, and delivery of the annual Greystar Marketing Masters Conference via in-person and virtual content in partnership with the event advisory board.
Oversee the property marketing college internship program including program development, hiring, execution, and participant feedback. Evolve, promote, and execute the company's program to deliver marketing educational opportunities to on-site team members.
Support internal marketing subject matter experts in the delivery of curriculum and content, including leading and conducting programs, online learning, and demonstrations.
Complete recurring administrative tasks including management of job descriptions, org charts, contact lists, and new hire orientation scheduling for marketing team members.
Support marketing recruiting activities by developing candidate profiles, interview questions, and candidate testing scenarios.
Participate in the selection and vetting of external curriculum developers, as needed, to supplement internal resources. Manage overall project plans and service providers to ensure the on-time and on-budget completion of contracted deliverables.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, innovations, and best practices in the learning and development discipline.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
High-level proficiency in creating classroom, digital, virtual learning experiences and participant and facilitator learning materials, mobile user experiences, instructional activities and events, and activities for a wide variety of formats and delivery systems.
Demonstrated proficiency in digital and mobile user experience design principles and current authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline 360 Software, Adobe suite of tools, SnagIt, Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools).
Strong knowledge of enterprise Workday Learning platforms or LMS systems to complete required reports, evaluate applications and systems, and produce necessary communication materials.
Initiates change and is a self-starter. Takes on and produces a high volume of work. Can sustain a heavy workload over an extended period. Ability to work independently and remotely.
*Experience and successful track record in project management, with ability to develop and execute complex project plans and manage multiple priorities against established budgets and deadlines.
Knowledge of adult learning principles, course development methodologies (such as SAM, ADDIE, Mager) and training evaluation levels.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience, preferred.
College degree in instructional design, education, curriculum development, or related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred. #LI-DNL
