Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this position plays an important role in executing the school’s Communications Strategy including fostering a strong sense of school community and working to attract the best applications from a talented and diverse body of prospective students.
The successful candidate will have the following skills, background and interest:
Post-secondary education in marketing and at least three years of professional experience, preferably in a Business to Consumer environment. Education marketing experience is an asset.
Excellent knowledge of web and social analytics.
Experience with or demonstrated ability to quickly learn Facebook Business, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and Mailchimp.
Experience working with and coordinating outside agencies to achieve campaign goals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
High level of attention to detail as well as the capacity to be a proactive and analytical problem solver.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Organized with the ability to work under deadlines with conflicting demands from various departments.
Enthusiastic, energetic, a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to conduct research, prepare and present reports.
Ability to be tactful, demonstrate excellent judgment, and work as a positive and collaborative team member.
Ability to create, analyze and edit a wide variety of documents.
Impeccable writing skills and a high attention to detail.
Ability to identify and task resources effectively.
Contribute to the creation of an annual marketing plan in line with the school’s Communications Strategy and school’s Strategic Plan.
Collaborate with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications, Admissions, Advancement and other departments to design, execute and evaluate local and global marketing campaigns.
Maximize partnership opportunities, online platforms and advertising platforms to reach target audiences with key messages, strategic content and marketing material.
Apply brand and creative design in the development of video content.
Maintain and interpret analytics, and provide regular reports.
Research and understand target audiences.
Maintain an expert knowledge of online platforms, including advertising platforms, to reach target audiences.
Conduct market research analysis and provide insight to future planning.
Contribute to planning, writing and posting content for web, email and social media platforms.
Other duties as required to support the Marketing and Communications team.
