The Marketing Asset Manager is responsible for a range of duties related to internal and external communication efforts for the Nutrition Research Institute (NRI). This position is responsible for the interpretation and dissemination of technical or program-specific information through a variety of communication media to stimulate interest in research, programs, events, and activities conducted by the NRI.

The Manager will maintain and grow the NRI's existing online presence, develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more audiences and supporters, and will promote our brand with the goal of increasing traffic to NRI digital properties for public and donor engagement and event attendance.

The Manager will also provide graphic design services to the NRI, focusing primarily on the needs of NRI's Office of Institutional Advancement.

This position is located on the NC Research Campus in Kannapolis, NC (near Charlotte), approximately 2 hours from the UNC main campus in Chapel Hill. This position allows some flexibility in work schedule and location. Some work may be completed remotely, but other tasks will require scheduled onsite hours.

Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
