These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum. Our deep brain stimulation technology for progressive diseases help people manage their Parkinson's disease and essential tremor symptoms, steering away from side effects.
Our location in Austin, TX currently has an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist - Hybrid role. This Digital Marketing Specialist partners with the Global Chronic Pain Therapies and Movement Disorders marketing teams as well as other cross functional business partners to lead and manage Abbott's content marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate should have command of best practices and trends in content marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience. In addition, they should be a passionate, content marketing enthusiast with lots of cross-functional capability, curiosity and desire to deliver unique, engaging, and measurable campaigns that are designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between our customers and Abbott.
Execute all day-to-day digital marketing tactics, including:
Co-develop and own global content marketing strategy and dissemination across channels to increase customer awareness, engagement, and conversion
Responsible for content development for our email marketing and website channels, while incorporating best practices in copy and SEO, to connect with different audience segments
Identify opportunities to amplify content across various marketing channels and external media outlets
Incorporate and assist with market research in the development of messaging and content to best resonate with our target audiences
Partner with internal cross functional stakeholders and external agencies to develop creative, manage timelines and execution of current projects
Align with marketing budget, develop, and track key performance indicators
Localize campaigns and share learnings, development, implementation with other areas or countries where appropriate to align with strategic goals
Support additional strategic marketing and communication initiatives as they emerge
Establish KPIs, benchmarks and reports for all content marketing efforts
Provide comprehensive analysis, insights and recommendations for improvement by leveraging analytics data that identifies key areas that help increase engagement ROI, and overall performance of campaigns on a scheduled basis
Manage campaign timelines and budgets, as well as coordination of the production of any required campaign assets
Constantly improve personal knowledge of content marketing best practices, staying up to date with current technologies, emerging trends, design tools and applications
Maintains understanding of neuromodulation technology in a competitive environment
Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital or Public Relations, related field or work experience is required
- 2+ years of marketing experience, including hands-on experience developing content, working on email automation, mapping journeys and/or search engine optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Creative Cloud, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, and/or Adobe Experience Manager
- Ability to travel up to 10%
