The Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, invites applications for a full-time Marketing Partnerships Manager (MPM). The MPM is responsible for building connections between the Marketing Department and external stakeholders, including employers, corporate partners, and alumni. An external-facing role, the MPM develops and implements a comprehensive strategy for growing and maintaining a network of external partners that (1) provide employment opportunities (internships and full-time jobs) to the department's undergraduate and graduate students in marketing and sales, (2) collaborate with stakeholders to bring "real world" experiences to our classrooms and students, and (3) support, be it financially or with their time, various programs and initiatives within the department.
Consistent with the prescribed role responsibilities, the MPM will oversee the Marketing Department's Professional Sales Forum, Marketing Roundtable, and Alumni Board and a variety of programming initiatives (e.g., Mega Recruiting Event, Networking Night, etc.) intended to deepen the connection between the department and its external stakeholders. The MPM supervises and works collaboratively with a Program Manager to organize student and partner events, and is responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with Marketing Faculty and counterparts across Haslam College of Business Units responsible for undergraduate student career services and professional development, graduate and executive student career services and professional development, and development and alumni relations.
