The approved salary range for this position is $124,044 – $151,825. The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in this classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) on-going non-pensionable pay bonus.
Mineta San José International Airport (SJC) is recruiting for a Marketing Manager to lead a team of creative and analytical professionals to develop, execute and continually evaluate the Airport’s worldwide marketing programs and initiatives that drive measurable growth in passengers, non-airline revenue and awareness of the Airport’s value to the communities it serves. The Marketing Manager leads the Airport’s engagement in owned and paid media, including traditional and digital advertising, sponsorship programs, grassroots/ experiential marketing, influencer and social media marketing, and multimedia content development/ production. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in journalism, mass media communications, public relations, advertising, marketing or a closely related field, and six (6) years of increasingly responsible consumer (B2C) marketing, advertising, mass media communications, public relations or public information experience, including three (3) years of supervisory experience.
