About the Position: The Extension and International Programs Office coordinates the University's commitment to internationalization. The office initiates and administers contacts with partner institutions around the world in order to foster the exchange of faculty and students and coordinate international programming. Our office is dedicated to promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience within our multicultural campus community and with the world at large. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Marketing and Communications Project Leader (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt). The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.
The Marketing and Communications Project Leader collaborates with program areas to develop and implement projects and tasks from beginning to end and works across the Marketing and Communications Team (for content and design) on successful project and task execution. Organizes and creates documentation and templates to ensure efficiency and consistency. Determines methods to achieve programmatic goals and develops and implements program task procedures for assigned projects. The Project Leader is assigned program areas and oversees all tasks and projects related to those areas. The Project Leader is responsible for ensuring that Marketing and Communications work is done efficiently and effectively from program launch to rollout and constant improvement. Responsible for ensuring a consistent and integrated student experience across all communications channels (web, email, digital, display, print, social media, advertising, public relations, etc.) and throughout the student lifecycle including recruitment and retention, graduation, alumni engagement, and beyond. Analyzes and addresses problems using metrics, reasoning and interpretation and application of theories and principles to develop and recommend alternatives and best courses of action. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs. Working knowledge of the general practices, program or administrative specialty. Basic knowledge of and the ability to apply fundamental concepts. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit or administrative specialty. Knowledge of and the ability to apply basic methods and procedures used for research and statistical analysis. Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques. Ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment, handle multiple priorities, and organize and plan work assignments. Ability to compile, write, and present reports related to program or administrative specialty. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in higher education or marketing and communications agency. Strong written communication skills, with a special focus on clarity and an attention to detail. Knowledge of Agile Marketing principles and/or experience working within Agile Marketing processes. Knowledge of general User Experience design and/or research principles. Knowledge of general content strategy principles and technical writing for each marketing channel. Experience working with Customer Journeys and performance reporting, including but not limited to such approaches as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder. Current computer knowledge and skills with the Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint; cloud-based project management tool such as Bitrix24; website content management system such as OmniUpdate; email marketing tool such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Einstein engagement and behavior tools and Datorama data analysis; file-sharing tools such as Sharepoint and Dropbox and online communication tools such as Zoom and Teams. Excellent time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines within budget constraints. Working knowledge utilizing the Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat DC, Premiere Pro is a plus.
