The Regional Marketer (RM) is a commercial field-based member of the melanoma regional marketing team in the Solid Tumor franchise. The RM is responsible for engaging Melanoma Medical Experts to share brand strategy and gain expert insights. The role would also include identifying, developing, and pulling through marketing resources for the specific geography in which the regional marketer is assigned. The open geography includes the Northeast region which includes NY, NJ, MA, CT, PA, DC, VA, MD, MI, OH, IN, and KY but also has some National travel required to fulfill the function. This person works closely with Brand team colleagues as well as with Sales, Training, Value and Access and other key stakeholders. The RM would help support the Brand team on marketing projects and initiatives requiring involvement from Medical Experts and lead other identified marketing projects. The RM is also responsible for pull-through of advisory boards and other peer-to-peer initiatives in accordance with policy.
Medical Expert Engagement *Work with Brand, Sales Leadership, Strategy & Business Development, when necessary, and Medical to identify national, regional, and local Medical Experts for the targeted disease state *Engage Melanoma Medical Experts virtually, in-office and at local, regional and national conferences and conventions *Develop and execute an engagement plan with Medical Experts in a commercial capacity *Act as a primary point of contact for Medical Experts within the commercial side of the Novartis organization *Lead set up of Medical Expert engagements with Novartis colleagues during medical conferences *Educate the identified experts on important strategic aspects of the brand perspectives of Novartis molecules in the targeted disease state *Conduct advisory boards to gather ME insights and share with brand team and broader teams (as appropriate). *Share Medical Expert insights with all relevant internal teams to support their development of account-specific strategies *Support the Brand team and ME Engagement Lead on any newly identified compliant peer to peer initiatives in accordance with policy
Regional Marketing Initiatives *Share Medical Expert insights with brand team to support the development of the brand strategy and tactics *Take full accountability for executing designated marketing projects and, as appropriate, engage Medical Experts for content support with a regional or national focus *Collaborate with brand team via strategic planning and tactical planning meetings. *Identify local / regional opportunities and develop plan including creation / implementation of customized marketing resources, if needed, to support pull-through *Support field market access and sales via ATM meetings
Other *Maintain a thorough understanding of brand strategy and key business drivers *Stay abreast of competitive environment and treatment paradigms *Attend local, regional, and national medical meetings for the targeted disease state *Participate in special projects and perform other duties, as requested
