The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of e2L’s marketing and advertising initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CMO's primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing marketing qualified leads through successful marketing of e2L services and products, using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations.
This is a full-time, exempt position.
This is a remote position.
Standard work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with additional hours as necessary.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Planning, implementing, and overseeing all marketing and advertising strategy
Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research to marketing directors and suggesting strategies to expand market research.
Ensures the organization's message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives.
Nurture healthy internal and external relationships with the intent of building lead generation program value
Assess and improve existing initiatives for continuous campaign improvement
Devise new marketing strategies to increase marketing qualified leads for both services and products
Research and assess the company's current position in the market, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor positioning
Collaborate with other teams, such as new sales and service, to ensure marketing objectives are aligned with overall company goals to strategically drive business growth
Grow and develop the in-house marketing team.
Implement processes that result in greater efficiencies across the organization
Contribute to new business development initiatives
Lead and inspire marketing teams to arrive at unique solutions for their customers
Differentiate e2L from its competitors
Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities that are based on emerging trends that satisfy partners’ needs
Provide timely reporting on multiple metrics
Collaborate with Chief Strategy Officer, Chief of Product Innovation and others to create and iterate strategy
Develop seamless systems for communication and collaboration with Sales Team

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
10 years’ + of marketing leadership experience required
5+ years of in-depth knowledge and experience managing lead generation and direct response campaign strategy and execution; including email and direct mail marketing, lead nurturing, and marketing automation.
Proven business development and marketing experience with evidence of increasing lead generation related metrics.
Experience within the fields of K-12 Education and/or Ed Tech products and services preferred
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
High level of proficiency in technology tools and apps that increase productivity and efficiency
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
