The Small Business Card Marketing Strategy Owner develops and manages the marketing strategy for one or more channels in Small Business Card products, including developing and implementing offers, targeting clients, managing risk appetite and reviewing and monitoring performance. Ensures that product management efforts are integrated in alignment with broader SB card strategies including sales and risk forecasts, pricing changes, and credit strategy alignment. Responsibilities include evaluating current strategies, updating ongoing strategies, regular lead file development and risk/control governance over strategies. including risk and profit metrics and determining the best offers to retain clients. Additional ad hoc analytic requests and ongoing reporting will be required as needed to support both the assigned marketing channels and SB card performance as a whole. Competencies required include demonstrated strong knowledge of data analysis include SAS expertise, strategic planning/product management skills, and 3 to 5 years of related experience in developing and managing strategies.

Develops complex program models to extract data and uses multiple databases to acquire statistical and financial data. Utilizes portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results. Excels at risk/reward trade off. Build relationships with external agencies. Participates in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors. SAS and/or MicroStrategy experience preferred; 2-5 years experience preferred.
