The National Accounts Omnichannel Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for helping build brand equity and driving demand at key retailers through insights led media to shelf activations. With a consumer-first mindset, the Associate Marketing Manager works closely with the Marketing Manager and sales team to deliver overall business goals for our brands and retailers with programming that engages shoppers through the full path to purchase across all commerce channels. The National Accounts Omnichannel Associate Marketing Manager is also responsible for helping manage projects through our agencies within the outlined SOW, maximizing allocated budgets and agency resources.
As the retail and consumer landscape is rapidly evolving, this candidate will work closely with National Account Sales and retailer partners navigating complex situations to find solutions that drive the most value.
Assists the planning and development of omni channel, customer-specific retail programming for select Off-premise National Accounts including consumer promotions, social and influencer, in-store awareness, partnerships, sampling and other trial driving mechanisms
Assists in developing annual planning timelines, templates, collecting submissions and building recommended plans and budgets for alignment with brand and sales teams
Understanding the retailer in-store and online landscape and communicating key changes/challenges to internal stakeholders
Assists in the development of programming that drives the digital component of the shopper journey (pre store, in store, or offer delivered) to convert shoppers to buyers in conjunction with the Marketing Manager and sales team.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as determined by management.
Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience in consumer package goods (CPG) Marketing (Omni Channel, Shopper, Digital or Brand Marketing), Supplier or Agency side.
Must have omnichannel marketing experience and knowledge of current digital media trends & emerging platforms.
Experience developing and executing best-in-class omni channel trade/shopper marketing programs for off-premise retailers in multiple classes of trade (Grocery, Mass Merch, Club, Liquor, Dug, Convenience Store)
Excellent communications skills; articulate, robust writing, speaking, and presentation-building skills, strong interpersonal skills, and solid cross functional skills
Strong organizational and project management skills, ability to prioritize, and solid financial acumen
Experience working with agencies to create consumer facing, creative digital and analog point of sale / merchandising materials
Strong teamwork skills, working with interdepartmental functions to achieve project completion in a smooth and timely manner
Motivated self-starter and be able to work without daily guidance
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Strong PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience the Beer, Wine or Spirits industry
Experience with consumer promotions and coupons/rebates
Experience with and understanding of 3-tier distribution
Syndicated database experience (IRI or Nielsen), custom database experience a plus
