Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead marketing and communications initiatives to promote Duchesne, help recruit students, and inform prospective and current families and donors. The position is responsible for implementing and managing an integrated communications and marketing plan that supports the work of all areas of school life, particularly admissions and advancement. Collaborative skills are essential to work with third party agency/contractor resources, alumnae and internal teams to execute internal and external communications programs.
The Marketing Manager fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by partnering with the Head of School, Head of Advancement, Head of Enrollment Management, Head of Fine Arts, Head of Athletics, Heads of Upper, Middle, and Lower schools, Student Activities Director, and Technology Director, to communicate and celebrate the Duchesne values and story to our internal and external community. The candidate must also have a desire and ability to understand and market the Sacred Heart goals - Active Faith, Intellectual Values, Social Awareness, Building of Community and Personal Growth.
Collaborate with third-party agency partner and external creative resources on the creation and implementation of communications plans to increase brand awareness
Work closely with internal teams and alumnae organization to gather information for internal and external communications and marketing plans
Create content for websites, internal communications, social media, blogs, articles and more
Collaborate with internal departments to understand needed promotional materials to support the work of each team
Obtain necessary consent and provide final approval on all marketing collateral, products, and promotions
Develop schedules and maintain deadlines for promotional materials
Manage crisis communications related to weather, health, safety events
Manage, create, and post timely social media posts for the School across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)
Communicate clearly and creatively with the school community through weekly newsletters
