Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Los Angeles, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do
Anticipate client needs, define system strategy, and design requirements using human-centered design processes. Develop, test, implement and support custom technology solutions to integrate applications and continuously optimize them. Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and provide analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Lead transition cutovers across workstreams to drive readiness, define processes to ensure quality control and facilitate stakeholder meetings. Research user reported issues with software systems, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, propose process improvements and liaise between stakeholders, end users, and technical delivery teams. Manage and lead teams on product development, change implementation, defect resolution, daily operations, testing and vendor management. Estimate efforts, analyze risks, create dashboards, implementation and risk mitigation plans, coordinate cross functional activities between global workstreams. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching and data visualization tools to produce analysis that help businesses make better decisions. Consult on programs and technical systems as a subject matter expert, mentor and coach others.
80% travel required nationally.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any) or a related field. Must have two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Candidate must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:
Utilizing Scrum, Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall methodologies for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
Providing technical and business consulting support and conducting joint application design (JAD) sessions with all stakeholders;
Translating policy and functional requirements into business processes, rules, and user stories using Microsoft Visio, Corticon BRMS (Business Rules Management System), IBM Rational ClearQuest, IBM Rational Rose and Confluence;
Defining, managing, tracking and validating system requirements and product development using Jama, Jira, ALM (Application Life Cycle Management), ClearQuest, ClearCase and Microsoft Project;
Managing production support operations through Incident Management tools including ServiceNow, LogRocket, Cherwell, and Dameware;
Experience in public assistance programs and Integrated Eligibility and Enrollment Systems;
Designing database table structures, creating complex SQL (Structured Query Language) queries and tuning queries for better performance using SQL Developer and Oracle Database;
Creating analytical dashboards using Tableau and Microsoft Excel to provide data driven and strategic insights; and
Scripting and executing test scenarios and defining procedures to ensure the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements.
