In this role you will work very closely with EMEA and UK senior leadership across all functions of the company as well as their teams. You will work closely with GBM on event sponsorship/speakers and activation and with policy on matters relating to both Trade bodies and Councils. And you will also hold strong relationships across industry Trade leaders and our client's Council members.
Earn a place as a trusted advisor to our client's most influential clients and trade bodies and internal partners by engaging them in a conversation about the future of marketing that drives action that shapes the industry.
Partner with the Regional Council & Trade director to build the Council brand, ensuring that themes and agendas for meetings align with long term visions for the company
Understand what makes excellent and inspiring content for our client's Council and help senior leaders throughout the business develop and finesse their presentations to ensure it is most appealing to the Council and Trade bodies.
Develop relationships with key cross functional teams in region to make sure they share the best of the platform with their clients and trade bodies and are building advocates as they do.
Listen to client and Trade body feedback and use it to drive action that moves the industry forward.
Oversee the programme management of any activations that come out of the Council and Trade discussions.
Keep internal client partners and stakeholders up to date pre and post council and trade meetings with key feedback and action items - giving the partners what they need to advocate on the company's behalf.
Ensure Councils are flawlessly executed from pre to post meeting including attendance (internal/external), client briefs, internal prep meetings, presentations, meeting notes and follow-up.
Help to track and measure the value of the Council and Trade activity against key KPIs
Help to raise the bar on the work that our client's teams across EMEA do with Trade bodies by hosting regular team meetings, encouraging lifting and scaling of best practices.
Lead the development of content for the EU Industry roundtable which happens every quarter and is attended by Trade CEOs across Europe.
Help develop the ongoing strategy for how best to engage with this group to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship.
Work with the Coalition leaders on the team (running cross media measurement, GARM and data privacy) to ensure the work they are doing is communicated and amplified within trade bodies and councils in market
Lead the dissemination of high priority comms to Councils and Trades in EMEA.
10+ Years of Experience in sales, marketing or comms
Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower others
Strong communication skills and ability to converse/build relationships with high level executives internally and externally on a regular basis
Highly collaborative with the ability to deliver high service levels and successes to valued clients and internal stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about how to inspire, educate and inform clients and deliver against these ideas.
Self- motivated, big thinker, entrepreneurial in nature and comfortable in ambiguous situations.
Incredible attention to detail and ability to product manage complex programs with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
Excellent written communication and ability to help create communication and presentations that can bring ideas to life for the clients
