This position will lead a team of marketing and communications specialists responsible for reviewing and implementing WMS and BCS materials and communications. This requires ongoing, cross-organization partnerships to ensure regulatory controls are understood and incorporated into the processes and tools necessary to ensure consistent compliance within team and partner capacity.
Importantly, this role will assist in managing team capacity through a combination of hands-on support, prioritization, and timeline negotiation with partners. Experience as a marketing/communications supervisor would also be valuable.
This role will also provide system administration support for our business systems (WorkFront and Eloqua). This includes conducting level 1 support: user access and employee training, project intake/prioritization/traffic/set-up, initial troubleshooting and business reporting including capacity. It also includes coordinating level 2 support through vendors: statement of work contracts, invoices, licenses, upgrades, troubleshooting and development.
Ideal candidates are experienced, hands-on player/coach leaders who thrive developing people, processes and technology to meet current and future needs. Specialties in business systems/operations and regulatory controls related to marketing in the financial services industry are preferred.
This position reports to the Director of Operations for WMS/BCS Product Marketing and Communications.
People leadership including hiring, onboarding training, workload management, coaching, goal setting, career path guidance, status meetings, written reviews, compensation, etc.
Track and manage team member workload capacity, prioritization, effectiveness and adherence to best practices. Provide hands-on assistance as needed to address capacity constraints.
Complete project set-ups in workflow system (WorkFront).
Maintain and enhance system for automated Email delivery and effectiveness reporting (Eloqua)
Maintain department procedures and processes with an emphasis on eliminating non-value-added work and maximizing the use of consolidation and technology to deliver results that require less resource to maintain
Partner to maintain content collateral inventory in accordance with regulatory controls, overall volume, and review timing to maximize consistency and work within team and partner capacity
Partner with other team leaders to act as a regulatory liaison between Business Unit Compliance Liaisons (BUCLs), partners and department to ensure regulatory processes are understood and implemented efficiently and effectively end-to-end
Bachelor's degree in operations, marketing, communications, or related field
3+ years relevant experience
2+ years developing and leading highly engaged teams
2+ years as a marketing/communications specialist, supervisor or lead
2+ years operations experience, preferably in marketing/communications
2+ years formal content review process experience (AdTrax)
System administration experience supporting workflow and Email automation systems (WorkFront and Eloqua)
Reporting, analysis and capacity management experience
Exceptional prioritization, team workload management, timeline negotiation and organizational skills
Exceptional ability to develop and maintain collaborative and impactful relationships within team, department and cross-organizationally
