The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Marketing Communications Senior Specialist for the Customer Operations, Marketing Technologies and Digital Experience team, you will excel at developing communications strategies as well as successfully executing plans for internal 3M stakeholders, inclusive of Area, Business Group, Operations, Executive & Marketing teams
As a Marketing Communications Senior Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading end-to-end communications plans focused on impactful strategic communications including messaging, creative and content development aligned to global marketing excellence and marketing technology initiatives.
Working in cross-functional teams across the organization to gather data and alignment to support the communications plan while creating content that highlights the progress and impact of priority initiatives through the development of messaging, presentations, and broad 3M employee and program communications that address business and organizational needs.
Executing Global Marketing programs such as The 25 Award - Excellence in 3M Marketing award program and 3M's internal Marketing Forum.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Five (5) years experience in a Marketing Communications role that is focused on the internal customer
Experience building upon, applying, and maintaining a consistent brand across communications channels from design through content development
Experience with change management, identifying new opportunities, and influencing a new direction/process for internal customers.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master's degree in Communications, Marketing or MBA
Experience working in marketing technology and digital environments
Experience working with global cross-functional teams, handling multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and supporting virtual clients
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products, Above Create Suite
Experience working with email marketing software such as Campaign Launchpad or Eloqua and internal communications platform Yammer
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic and/or international
