Merritt Group is seeking a big-thinking, results-driven Account Supervisor to help build and lead our healthcare group, which is specifically focused on the digital health/health IT space. This position will lead healthcare-focused client teams in developing and executing strategic communications campaigns, providing clients with strategic counsel, managing and mentoring junior staff, supporting new business development initiatives and driving results across earned, owned and paid platforms. This position is perfect for those that thrive in a fast-paced environment, relish the natural high of securing that big media placement, seek adventure in new professional challenges and continually strive to exceed client expectations through inspired and creative problem solving.
Although our headquarters is located in McLean, VA, this position is open to remote work. Our office is reopening in July 2021 for those who would like to return, but we remain flexible in our remote work plans.

How to apply Qualified candidates must possess:
Agency experience: Minimum six years of PR experience; some healthcare PR experience preferred
Media and analyst relations acumen: Demonstrated results delivering high-value wins for clients, including pitching and securing media coverage as well as coordinating/supporting tours and campaigns
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: The ability to convey messages clearly and to create compelling content, including press releases, case studies and more
Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills: A keen eye for detail, a respect for the sanctity of deadlines, the capacity to deftly juggle multiple projects, priorities and clients, and the ability to gracefully cope with stressful situations
Strong leadership skills: Ability to coach and mentor others on a regular basis
Digital and social media prowess: Love of tools such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn as part of integrated marketing programs
A great attitude, of course! Strong work ethic, the ability to work well with teams, a passion for smart communication and the desire to have fun doing it
