JOB SUMMARY Acts as a coordinator of Web projects and general/advanced publishing for the CB Richard Ellis Web platforms using the Web publishing software - Content Management Solution (CMS). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supports offices using CB Richard Ellis' Web-based systems (i.e., cbre.com and the Navigator). Offers consulting solutions and opportunities on the Web for professionals, which will result in cost savings via Web marketing. Maintains and migrates all local market content for all platform upgrades. Responsible for communicating all upgrade requirements back to local office management as well as professionals Reviews and publishes Web pages on cbre.com for the local market including Websites submitted by Web Authors. Approves pages for Web Authors in the local offices in addition to creating new Web pages and maintaining current content. Oversees the creation process for the company Intranet as well as insight on increased cost reductions through the use of our various techniques in Web platforms on the local market Intranet. Adheres to company Style Guides & Training Manuals distributed by corporate and escalates any questions that are not answered by the training manuals and style guides to the Regional Web Manager. Implements company initiatives and new functionality rolled out by the Web Marketing Group. Administers WebTrends reporting, which monitors the usage of the Company's Websites and works with the Regional Web Manager to produce reports relevant to internal (brokers) and external (clients) customers. Provides information to employees in the office regarding Web marketing and resources available on cbre.com and The Navigator. Set up meetings with professionals to encourage utilization of the cbre.com and Navigator Websites. Attends Content Management Systems software training with the Regional Web Manager and quarterly advanced Web Publishing classes. Read monthly newsletters and emails, participate in monthly conference calls and implement any features discussed in these medias. Prepares and distributes communications to employees on a regular basis requesting updates to Personal/Property/Team/Case Study Websites. In addition, distributes company communications to employees in the office. Answers employees' questions regarding elevating their Web presence on the cbre.com Web platform. Visits each office within their local market on a monthly basis to increase broker and employee awareness and convey requests for new functionality. Act as the conduit between the field and the Web Marketing Group Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 0 to 2 years of experience. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages. REASONING ABILITY Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Basis skills with various software programs including InDesign, PageMaker, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, Freehand, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong writing skills; ability to work from concept through execution of marketing and communication projects. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
