The Marketing Technology Specialist will report to the Global Marketing Technology Manager and will work with a team of marketing professionals in the areas of marketing technology, data & integrations, and planning & processes. You will partner across the diverse, global organization to develop the collaborative relationships needed to be successful. The emphasis of this global role is to support SaaS based global marketing technology platforms. You will serve as the global point person for some digital tools and processes, provide support for the regional execution and building our new digital demand capabilities, and work directly with the regional teams to prototype, build, and improve our tools & processes based upon overall objectives. As you grow into the role and organization, you will become an internal consultant, advisor, and expert of the tools. Candidates should have a history of understanding cross functional teams, possess the ability to quickly understand and translate our wide variety of technologies to recommend and build out business-need solutions. They should also have a thorough familiarity with all the core building blocks of modern marketing software and how these components interact. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: - Translate marketing needs into technical requirements and propose innovative technical solutions to the team
- Global requirements gathering and deployment of integrated digital tools and processes
- Support new digital platform requests by providing process guidance, technology options and feedback on business cases
- Drive recommendations and facilitate the implementation of marketing technology, in an effort to improve how Rockwell Automation executes digital omnichannel demand generation/demand marketing tactics
- Assist in the development of new digital strategies
- Actively seek out upgrades and enhancements to existing systems and propose plans for their implementation
- Support and refine data integrations and standards between cloud-based marketing systems & sales CRM
- Provide additional analytics support to ensure data integrity and quality across all digital performance benchmarks and reports
- Utilizes agile workflow in ongoing work assignments
Minimum Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Business, MIS, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2 years working experience in a corporate or agency environment

- Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this role will begin 100% remote.
In the future, there will still be a high degree of flexibility for remote work, however candidates must have the ability to commute to the downtown Milwaukee, WI office Preferred Experience & Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with experimentation, setup, and assessment in marketing technology or similar SaaS platforms
- 2-3 years of technical experience or expertise with many of the following tools (or similar): Eloqua (marketing automation), Dynamics (CRM), Adobe Target (personalization), Microsoft Power Apps, advanced web analytics deployment (e.g. Adobe Analytics or Oracle Infinity), customer data platforms (e.g. D&B Lattice, Leadspace)
- Competence in HTML/CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, MySQL
- Comfortability working with data & database tools; bonus if you have exposure with data modeling, or "Customer 360" initiatives
- Experience integrating marketing software components using APIs and/or solutions like Microsoft Flow
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to see through barriers and is comfortable challenging the existing ways of doing things
- Strong problem-solving, communication, project management, and organizational skills
- Capability to present issues and recommendations in a concise, direct manner
- Have a flexible, can-do attitude: Able to take on a variety of tasks and maintain a positive attitude
- Adjusts schedule as needed to support global collaboration
- Experience influencing without formal authority - both peers and other group leaders
- 3-5 years experience in a corporate or agency environment
