Goucher College's Office of Communications is hiring a Marketing Manager to join the team. The Marketing Manager will assist with overseeing and implementing Goucher's marketing campaigns, particularly leading Goucher's email marketing efforts. This position will proactively manage Goucher's email calendar, generate content, including writing and copy editing, and execute email campaigns and one-offs to a variety of stakeholders, including prospective students, alumnae/i, and internal messages. The Marketing Manager will create and implement digital campaigns as needed for the College. This position will provide insight and feedback to assist the College's Director of Marketing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field
• 3 - 5 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in email marketing
• Industry and deep social media marketing knowledge and skillset

Computer Skills Required: 

• Microsoft Office on both Mac and PC, CMS/web-editing software programs, blog platforms (WordPress)
• Social media platforms, Hootsuite
• Mass email distribution systems (MailChimp)
• Comfortable with learning college-specific database skills (CRM/Slate), HTML and design skills preferred (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Comfortable with photo and video editing (Premiere, YouTube editor)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a marketing-related position with a focus on writing and editing style for web and email communications
