Microsoft Movies & TV, Group Product Marketing Manager
Microsoft Digital Store delights millions of fans around the world by delivering world-class shopping experiences that enables individuals to find the entertainment content that suits them.
As the Microsoft Movies & TV Group Manager, you are on the center stage to build, plan, and lead the Microsoft Movies & TV service, a 1st party video transactional service that features over 400,000 of the latest movies and TV shows across 21 markets. This role will guide and develop a team of Business Planners and a Marketer. You will also support Digital Store’s in-product advertising initiatives, helping shape the policies and programs that get the right product in front of the right consumer.

How you could make an impact:
Combine your experience in ecommerce with your strategic thinking to lead and inspire a team of Business Planners and Marketing to create differentiated transactional video offerings in partnership with the major entertainment studios.
Use your cross-group collaboration and business management skills to evolve and grow our consumer understanding and product offerings.
Assess, propose, and implement bold and innovative ideas for growth
Develop insight-driven narratives with sound recommendations
Build strong relationships with other Microsoft Leaders across business lines and engineering with the goal of creating joint initiatives, prioritizing service features, sharing knowledge and achieving our ambitions in entertainment and advertising.
Establish and implement the effectiveness measures for video and advertising offerings, analyzing awareness, engagement, and customer/partner satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has experience and proven track record of developing people and has a passion for entertainment content across devices, understands what it takes to grow a digital business, and can deliver results in a highly matrixed organization. Candidate will be primary contact for Studio business teams and should have experience collaborating across external partners, finance, and engineering teams.
Deliver on annual and monthly revenue commitments by finding data-driven insights that lead to improvements in our customer experience.
Develop and retain top marketing and business planning talent, embracing and applying Microsoft core leadership values of Model-Coach-Care.
Oversee and support the account management of global movie studios.
Utilize data analysis skills to understand customer behaviors that lead to more effective positioning of advertising & studio content.
Drive strategic & tactical initiatives to meet customer needs & grow the Microsoft Store.
Partner with Xbox Marketing and LIVE Programming for integrations and bundles.
Partner with Microsoft Advertising team to be the voice of the Xbox and facilitate the best ad experiences.
Create a plan for frequent experimentation, building a strong database of best practices.
3+ years of marketing, business planning, ecommerce experience or other related and relevant experience
Direct people management experience, coaching & developing talent, and building a high performing team.
Demonstrated analytical horsepower and depth in ability to make data driven decisions.
Highly Preferred Experience and Skills:
Demonstrated ability to drive results within a matrixed environment through cross-group collaboration, influencing others and clarity of decision making
Integrate and contribute to a Team First culture
Executive presence and business maturity for internal and external partner presentations
Business Acumen. Can go deep in understanding business and data, and then elevate and simplify for executive level discussion.
Can turn business insights into clear actions for the team.
Solid relationship and communication skills for working with senior managers across partner studios and Microsoft
Strong prioritization skills to maximize business impact
Ability to use Excel or other tools to perform data analysis and business modeling.
Ability to use PowerPoint to tell a succinct business story based on data analysis.
