What will I be doing?
As Lead Product Marketing Manager, you will work directly with the Vice President of eBooks to develop, implement and track the global marketing program that leverages our platform, content and developing open access strategy and serve as the marketing expert on ProQuest eBooks products as it relates to buying behavior, selection criteria, and competitive landscape. You will also work with other stakeholders, including with the President of Books, on strategic overall books marketing activities and initiatives.
In this position, you will also...
Work directly with the Vice President of eBooks to develop, implement and track the global marketing program that leverages our platform, content and developing open access strategy.
Drive growth through segmenting our various markets for the best go-to-market strategies and tactics. You will live with our sales organization to provide qualified leads, marketing support, and sales tools to close sales.
Serve as the marketing expert on ProQuest eBooks products as it relates to buying behavior, selection criteria, and competitive landscape.
Develop go-to-market strategies, compelling product messaging, and tools that communicate value and support sales worldwide.
Develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand and address the needs of customers, prospects as well as publishers, globally
Develops product positioning and messaging that effectively communicates competitive advantage to various target audiences - including end-users and customers.
Manage a team of 3 Product Marketing professionals and one senior analyst. You will be part of a tightly integrated core and an extended team that includes product managers, platform product managers, user experience designers, content licensing experts, and engineers. You will partner with the global field Marketing team, who will execute your plans regionally to ensure alignment and appropriateness of the message.

You prefer to work independently and avoid collaboration when it's not completely necessary.
You're not able to travel at least 35% to visit conferences and clients.
Qualified candidates must have…
Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, business or other related fields, and a minimum of five years leading the marketing function.
You must have experience with digital product marketing in higher education and/or library space.
Proven track record developing effective product go-to-market strategies for multiple products in a product portfolio, messaging and positioning, creating marketing plans and sales enablement tools.
Ability to manage numerous projects and meet aggressive deadlines in a dynamic, multi-location environment, while maintaining a team-oriented approach to business.
Data analytics experience.
Strong presentation skills.
Project management skills with high attention to detail.
An MBA is will be highly prized but not required.
Other important information about this position:
This position is based in the Ann Arbor, Michigan or New Providence, NJ with work from home flexibility.
This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours. Travel will be required.
