Global Experiences, Inc., a division of the American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS), has been providing life-changing internship abroad programs and professional experiences for university students and young professionals since 2001.
Global Experiences, Inc., is looking for a new Marketing Coordinator to join their team. In this position, you will work directly with the Marketing Team and provide support for the Admissions and University Teams with the development and execution of marketing campaigns and materials. You will coordinate various marketing activities, update and maintain Global Experiences social media presence, as well as assist with the production and maintenance of marketing collateral.
Oversee Global Experiences’ social media accounts by creating, posting, reviewing and analyzing data on the posts and campaigns
Manage Snapchat and Instagram takeovers: determine and vet best candidates, provide training, promote on social media, track success
Run photo and video contests for intern program participants yearly
Design social media graphics, email banners, website banners, blog images, and other marketing graphics and collateral as needed
Manage communication around university fair travel and university presentations
Communicate continuously with intern program participants to obtain photos, videos, Q&As, testimonials, and share with university team
Work with Alumni Ambassadors to post on social media / provide materials to help them promote their experience on campus
Coordinate and execute various marketing tasks to support campaigns to drive lead generation and sales
Organize and maintain tasks - track projects, resources, needs, and deadlines
Participate in creative brainstorming for marketing initiatives, campaigns, content/messaging, and branded materials
You must meet all of the following requirements to be considered for this position.
A minimum of 1 years experience in a professional environment; prior marketing or sales experience is preferred
A Bachelor’s degree
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience with various Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat)
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
General understanding and a creative eye for website and graphic design layout
Project management skills to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication
Preferred Job Experience:
Experience living, interning or studying abroad, preferably in one of our program destinations
Experience working with HubSpot and SalesForce platforms
Experience with Google Analytics a plus
Strong understanding of inbound marketing concepts including; SEO, blogging, social media, lead nurturing, email marketing, buyer personas, landing pages, calls-to-actions
Creative, with a can-do attitude for simple design needs and utilizing intern photos
