About the Opportunity: The Undergraduate Enrollment Marketing and Communications Team is a hybrid marketing and communications team which blends traditional and digital marketing efforts with a focus on communication strategy. The team is made up of experts in skill areas such as: marketing, communications, analytics, and strategy. We are an agile and flexible team that aims to enable better storytelling by stronger reporting and strategic analysis of our marketing and communications efforts.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Enrollment Communications, the Marketing Project Manager is responsible for project managing marketing and communication projects lead by various team membersincluding providing strategic insight into the roadmap for the Senior Director, ensuring the marketing leads are on track, as well as helping to develop a system for managing schedules, particularly around reviews and feedback.
Responsibilities: Additional responsibilities will include:
Leading special projects for the Senior Director
Filling gaps due to turnover, leaves, large scale projects, etc,
Supporting day to day work such as filling in to cover email volume and events as needed
Managing the budget closely with Senior Director: processing invoices, keeping an eye on project spend with marketing leads, etc.
This position is part-time, flexible position requiring ~25 hours a week. The role is hybrid remote/in office with approximately 15 days annually required in the office for retreats, quarterlies, etc. and is an ideal position for an experienced project manager who wants a flexible role in which they are able to make a real impact on our team and our organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, motivating, a proactive self-starter, someone who can collaborate, who can operate and thrive in a fast past, high volume environment, and who has the desire to learn and grow within the marketing department.
Bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing or related field required
Experience in project management required
7-10 years of professional experience in some combination of project management, marketing, advertising, communications, etc.
Should be highly organized, experience working on complex, fast-paced projects, and have examples of this prepared to share
Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to handle projects from start to finish and strong leadership skills to support the unit's interests and goals as assigned.
Experience working with project management systems such as Asana, Workfront, etc.
