This individual will play a key role on the US ASMD Marketing team, responsible for leading HCP facing activities related to the launch of Olipudase Alfa in the US market.
This position will be responsible for developing HCP marketing material and tactics in preparation for launch to enhance HCP disease and treatment understanding, improve identification/diagnosis of people living with ASMD (Acid Sphingomyelinase Deficiency).
This position reports to the US Lead for ASMD Marketing. The role will be cross-functional, requiring strong collaboration and building synergies with Field Sales, Training, Medical Affairs, Global marketing, Legal, and Regulatory teams.
Build and execute HCP related launch readiness tactics in line with launch strategy
Lead HCP marketing efforts including message development, product positioning, branding and creative campaign development
Develop scientifically sound, market insight-based disease education and product material such as websites, speaker program content, disease education/product brochures
Lead the development of an integrated non-personal promotion plan enable to earlier diagnosis of ASMD by HCPs
Support HCP market research projects, formulation of market research calendar and execution of market research studies, to support strategic decision making
Develop and execute annual US national medical conference calendar. Ensure effective engagement, including organizing disease education symposia, booth material development and metrics reporting
Building and maintaining relationships with professional medical associations and key opinion leaders in the space
Have a good understanding of the U.S. healthcare environment and reimbursement issues related to orphan drugs
Analyze data, metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), to measure return on investment (ROI) of various marketing tactics
Lead the approval process of the HCP ASMD/Olipudase Alfa materials through Promotional Review Board (PRB)
Manage external agency and vendor relationships to ensure timelines and deliverables are met

Ability to travel 20-25% of the time
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
Minimum of 3 years of Product Marketing and related commercial function experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
Demonstrated ability to effectively implement and communicate core brand positioning and messaging
Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders such as Sales, Global Marketing, Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Market Research
Proven project management skills including objective setting, prioritization, planning, timeline and budget management, and pull-though of clear action plans
Strong organizational and operational skills, with attention to detail and sound business judgment
Strong critical thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset
Ability to adapt and thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
