About the Opportunity: The Marketing & Operations Specialist is responsible for developing and executing plans that contribute to successful marketing programs, events, and customer experience, for the Toronto campus. S/he will report to the Regional Marketing Manager and support social media communications, content marketing initiatives, inbound and outbound communications with prospective students and stakeholders, event logistics and execution, and analyze marketing and event performance in support of driving enrolment for Northeastern's portfolio of professional degree programs. Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with regional Marketing Manager to develop, execute and oversee regional social media, advertising, email marketing, out-of-home and digital communications strategies.
Build and manage email campaigns, including setting strategy, identifying target audiences, testing, launching, and analyzing results.
Execute on tactical content and on-demand marketing initiatives. Initiatives include, but not limited to, campus videography, photography, blog and influencer marketing.
Manage and oversee inbound communications with prospects and general inquiries. Platforms include but limited to general campus inbox and phone lines, social media, and CVENT.
Create and optimize marketing and event landing pages in Marketo and CVENT to increase conversions, registrations, and other key KPIs.
Support overall enrollment marketing campaigns with the Marketing Manager by drafting compelling marketing copy for use in advertising campaigns, promotional materials, email marketing, landing pages and other communication channels.
Leverage analytics tools to monitor overall trends and produce reports for overall prospect generation, pre- and post- event metrics, marketing campaign performance, and campaign conversion.
Recommend techniques, tools and processes to continually improve the engagement of key internal and external stakeholders.
Support the Campus Operations Manager and Regional Recruiter with event planning, logistics, and execution for comprehensive hosted in-person and marquee field recruiting events for key target audiences. Events will include, but are not limited to, open houses, prospective student information sessions, large-scale recruitment events, yield events, industry conferences, and online webinars. In addition, provide operational support for information sessions, hosted recruitment events, and promotional and presentation materials.
Work closely with campus partners including college partners, faculty, admissions, marketing, and external vendors to support events as needed.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project goals.
Implement effective processes and develop project timelines to ensure smooth and professional events and campaigns.
Bachelor's degree required with minimum 2 years of relevant marketing and event management experience.
Experience with Salesforce (leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities and campaigns), social media management, graphic design, copywriting, project management, designing and implementing A/B tests, and customer relationship management would be beneficial.
Required strengths include: Attention to detail and understanding of logistics, organization, short-term and long-range assessment and planning and strong communication and presentation skills. In addition, strong analytical, interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize are a must.
A successful candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic who actively contributes to the office welfare in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across units and is sensitive and responsive to the needs of diverse constituencies is required.
Ability and willingness to work occasional early-morning, evening, and weekend hours at various locations across the GTA required.
