The Office of University Relations seeks an Assistant Director of University Relations for Marketing. The person in this position plans, implements and updates all UT Martin marketing and advertising, which directly impacts enrollment, retention, brand awareness, fundraising and community perception. The position also oversees all official UT Martin social media accounts and has supervisory responsibility.
*Creates, maintains and monitors positive visibility for UT Martin through marketing, advertising, social media, customer relationship management system, prospective high school visits and community relations. The Assistant Director-Marketing develops and implements various communication plans within a budget that follows the university's messaging; coordinates production of advertising, marketing and promotional materials; and collects data to help make informed decisions. This position directly impacts the main campus and university's five centers for enrollment, brand awareness, retention, fundraising and community perception. *Serves as the university's primary social media professional and, in this role: grows the number of social media followers, executes short- and long-term social media initiatives, monitors and responds to social media activity, analyzes and collects social media data, and serves as the primary social media contact during crisis situations. Responsible for directing and supervising the office's social media intern. *Supervises the office's full-time professional creative staff; assists in giving direction to all office creative efforts; and coordinates the publication requisition process that determines the order and priority of publications jobs for the university. *Meets with clients to determine their needs and assists with execution of advertising and marketing content and initiatives that include presentations, social media campaigns, advertising plans and other projects.
