Mission Description of the Business Line or Department
Lyxor Asset Management is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Societe Generale Group represented in the UK by Lyxor Asset Management UK LLP, that is authorised and regulated by the FCA. Investment specialists deliver asset management and advisory solutions, in all asset classes, to institutional investors. With a strong culture of risk-management and research, Lyxor stands amongst the leaders in innovative, transparent and flexible asset management.
Summary of the key purposes of the role
Help drive the marketing strategy and execution of local marketing plans in the region
Work with Head of Channel and Head of Marketing to define, develop and deliver the marketing strategy for Lyxor ETF in the region
Manage budget and relationships with external suppliers including media buying, design and event agencies.
Deploy central content effectively, devise local content strategy
Translate, adapt and socialise/deploy central content marketing initiatives locally - including weekly e-mails & tactical push e-mails
Supervise and ensure delivery of content for local markets at appropriate time - co-ordinated with other markets across Europe
Initiate suitable local content deliverables
Develop local client communications through emails, local content, blogs, web when appropriate - keeping central calendar in mind at all times
Manage external local writers when needed
Help devise and implement advertising strategy
Work with Head of Channel and media buying agencies to define relevant media schedule in order to maximise visibility with key target clients
Innovate and find new ways to enhance display
Deliver creatives / content for local markets with the support of a design agency
Run permanent advertising via LinkedIn
Build and implement event strategy to attract new clients and service those we have already
Select local 3rd party event sponsorships and negotiate packages
Work with Head of Channel to design high quality local client events - keeping central plans in mind at all times
Report on events success
Co-lead press coverage
Work with Head of Channel, central Communications team and local media agencies to develop strategy for region and animate PR throughout the year
Feed ideas and topics to local agencies - ideally following central calendar
Use appropriate Lyxor spokespeople
Attend calls between journalists and spokespersons
Drive press events in partnership with Coms
The role does not have any direct reports to delegate to
The role will however will work with several functions - Compliance, Product Experts, Sales, ETF Research and other marketing personnel
Level of autonomy and authority
The role will have some autonomy, with the candidate taking responsibility for co-ordination and delivery of insights content .
Technical understanding of ETFs or Asset Management industry
Understanding of the mechanics of Financial Markets
Experience with agency management
Strong communication skills and relationship management
Confidence of working in a sales environment
Dependable project management skills
Independent, but also a team player
Hard working and diligent - attention to detail is very important
