Job Summary/Essential JobFunctions: The Communications, Marketing, and Event (CME) Coordinator,under the direction of the Dean of the College of Nursing (CON), the CMECoordinator serves as the coordinator for the CON print and electronic mediapresence (including social media), assists in the overall CON marketing plan,and facilitates CON events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops materials foron-line recruitment; maintains social media sites for recruitment.
Researches and stays abreastof current social media trends for student, alumni, and faculty engagement/recruitment.
Develops and manages separate,distinct online communities on social media properties, including Facebook,Twitter, Blogs, etc.
Assists the Dean ofthe CON in building out engaged social media opportunities.
Assists with writingoriginal material for publication for the CON audience.
Operates audio/videoequipment to develop media for courses and promotional content.
Evaluates, edits,maintains, and coordinates publishing digital content on the UTHSC web site andofficial social media channels.
Facilitates theplanning and execution of special events in the CON.
Completes specialprojects as assigned by the Dean.
Designs, develops andmaintains relevant technology training for faculty, staff and students.
Perform other dutiesas assigned.
