Position assists in the implementation of marketing campaigns targeting prospective graduate students for Advanced Academic Programs (AAP).
The Marketing coordinator is responsible for assisting the strategic generation of viable inquiries for over 30 Advanced Academic Programs and certificates offered in two modalities: online and on-ground. To successfully assist in the generation of over 10,000 inquires annually this position will coordinate the placement of advertisements, dissemination of press releases to appropriate media houses, and plan and implement marketing activities throughout the year.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
35% -- Marketing and Recruitment
Collaborate with Marketing team and academic program directors to plan, develop, and implement strategies that will increase the number of viable inquires from enrollment cycle to enrollment cycle in each program offering.
Design and implement successful marketing campaigns.
Develop a competitors matrix for the proper positioning of programs and offerings.
Develop and implement a marketing activities strategy to generate inquiries.
Implement ongoing strategic communications and follow-up marketing activities.
Collaborate with Admissions team for messaging to prospective students and applicants.
Prioritize a portfolio of complex projects for a variety of program offerings.
Manage project deadlines with outside consultants, and vendors.
Conduct market research for program positioning and competitive analysis.
Write marketing and public relations copy.

Implement strategic communications plan.
Set priorities for media buys and work with appropriate outlets.
Supervise and direct external vendors.
15% -- Records Administration and Management
Archive recruitment and marketing information/communication pieces.
Design a system to measure and disseminate ROI analytics.
Monitor ROI for each online and print advertisements.
15% -- Digital Media
Design an effective collaborative social media campaign with program directors.
Assist with story ideas for website news and press release content.
15% -- Supervision
Supervise and manage activities for two marketing interns.
5% -- Other Duties As Assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory):
Bachelor's degree required.
Three years of related experience required.
Degree focus in marketing, advertising, communications or related area preferred.
Experience in marketing campaign analytics preferred.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated understanding of general marketing principles.
Ability to collaborate effectively with collateral designers in the production of promotional materials.
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
Exposure to SEO/SEM campaigns.
Solid computer skills, including MS Office, web analytics and Google Adwords.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects and project deadlines.
Significant experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management System (CMS) software.
Expected to supervise 2 or more interns.
