The Executive Director of Growth and Marketing develops and executes aligned business development and marketing initiatives to advance the overarching Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan of the Mon Health System as well as the System entity-specific businesses and their objectives.
The job scope includes achieving goals related to: • Overall growth of Mon Health System market share and service line/business unit volume; • Advancing System and business unit-specific brand awareness, image and loyalty goals; • Advancing Mon Health physician referral preference; • Advancing Mon Health consumer choice preference; • Advancing brand engagement among internal Mon Health audiences; • Alignment and oversight of marketing and community engagement for all System business units; • Alignment and oversight of all System business unit marketing and community engagement budgeting and external vendors; • Responsibility for Mon Health Medical Center marketing and community engagement; • Development and reporting of all growth, marketing and community engagement data and ROI performance measurement and reporting;
The Executive Director of Growth and Marketing, in collaboration with the System CEO and Chief Operating Officer, plans and directs the work of the System Growth Council through regular convening of stakeholders throughout the System.
The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring all Mon Health business units have strong tactical action plans, timelines and execution measurements and benchmarks for those plans. Develops and monitors key performance indicators to evaluate the overall success of all strategic growth and marketing initiatives.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications, Business Administration, Healthcare Management/Administration or Related Field with an emphasis in marketing is required. Master’s Degree is strongly preferred.
Experience: Demonstrated success and a minimum of five years’ experience progressively leading growth, marketing and communications functions to include developing and implementing business development and marketing strategies within a hospital or healthcare setting. Strong experience cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and maintaining strong positive working dynamics with cross-functional teams is essential. Strong experience demonstrated with brand establishment, creative services management, digital marketing and consumer relationship platforms. Qualified candidates will possess robust business acumen, data analytic and change management skills along with strong leadership experience engaging and managing staff performance to goals and objectives. Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages and multi-task with a high sense of urgency is a must.
