The Marketing Strategist will development and implement the industry organization’s corporate marketing strategy including branding and messaging, target marketing for member recruitment and retention and marketing for events, website and market research and tools.
The candidate must be able to manipulate and analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Working closely with the team the Marketing Strategist will ensure that the organization has all the necessary marketing tools it needs to continue its growth and performance.
The ideal candidate will be creative, self-discipline and an experienced leader. This individual will display superior time-management and multi-tasking capability within a fast-paced and deadline-driven atmosphere.
Develop and implement a cross-channel / multi-channel communication strategy
Manage the marketing calendar, ensuring effective and successful integrated communications across all channels in all regions.
Align market research and data with executive vision, and chart progress forward.
Manage asset library
Manage website content, strategy and maintenance/functionality (Wordpress)
Manage relationships with third party vendors
Coordinate all routine aspects of customer orders, requests and inquiries (Online store management)
Traditional and digital copywriting, and editing for internal and external communications
Content development, distribution, and promotion(PPT, Brochure, Web, etc.)
Social media management
Manipulate data sets and analyze a variety of marketing and sales, email, and social media/web data points to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive client success.
4+ years of general marketing/communications experience
Bachelor’s degree in corporate marketing, communication
Experience communicating through a variety of mediums including webinars, social media, and sales presentations.
Experience with cross-channel / multi-channel marketing and implementing multi-channel communication strategies.
Experience with CMS/CRM, online/database/email marketing tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT).
Excellent verbal and journalistic writing/editing skills, social skills
Excellent time management skills
Hands on experience with marketing automation systems and processes
Basic HTML experience (able to compose HTML email template)
Heavy experience with Wordpress a plus
experienc in a business, marketing, communications, or analytically rigorous field preferred
Knowledge of web design/development
Knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, etc…
