The Digital Marketing Specialist plans and implements client and agency digital media strategy - developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging product adoption. The individual should have a solid understanding of web standards and best practices, with proven experience with digital marketing platforms and strategies. The position provides a variety of strategic and creative support to Ten Adams’ digital, account and media services teams, as well as client-facing interaction. The Digital Marketing Strategist should be a hardworking and highly motivated self-starter with an aptitude for organization, prioritization and communication. This individual will be accountable for digital campaign coordination, email marketing execution, social property management and presentation of digital platform performance.
This position reports to the Director of Brand Strategy and Digital.
Provides prompt, proficient and professional assistance between the Ten Adams digital, account and media services teams
Participates in the strategy, execution, analysis and optimization of both Ten Adams and the client’s digital marketing programs and campaigns, coordinating online activities in support of their missions and brand voice
Develops and implements digital marketing campaigns, coordinating efforts to maximize campaign goals and objectives
Creates and manages digital production schedules and content calendars
Writes, manages and publishes content for email, web and social media platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy of content
Monitors social networking sites and interacts with customers, moderating online conversations, creating content and sparking discussion
Provides digital performance reporting and insightful analysis for both Ten Adams and clients to drive greater audience engagement
Liaises with digital vendors and contract support
Assists in identifying and cultivating opportunities for business development and new client acquisition; assists with the creation of digital proposals
Willing to assist with other marketing functions as needed (i.e., event management and representation, meeting notes and follow-up, CRM maintenance, etc.)
Helps define e-commerce objectives and strategies
Maintains knowledge of healthcare industry news and emerging digital media trends
Participates in the development, presentation and advancement of the Ten Adams brand
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Savvy communication skills with internal teams, clients and outside partners/vendors
Reliable, professional, assertive, extremely organized with keen attention to detail
Experience planning and creating social media content and use of content management systems (i.e., WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
Familiarity with social media management platforms (i.e., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.)
Experience using digital analytics and reporting tools a plus
Understanding of marketing automation tools
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
Demonstrated strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
Aptitude for market research, analysis and campaign evaluation with the ability to translate quantitative information into creative strategies
Ability to effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize deliverables and resources working across projects, based on scope of work and project goals
5 years experience in digital media required; healthcare/hospital marketing exposure strongly preferred
