DIRECTOR OF GROWTH MARKETING, edX, to lead edX's global acquisition and retention strategy, with a goal of developing and fostering a community of learners who both benefit from the edX experience and contribute to its mission financially and as ambassadors. Will develop and execute a clearly defined marketing strategy to drive rapid growth, bring qualified learners to edX, engage them in courses, and develop them into loyal edX learners and supporters. Responsibilities include combining data, technology, and behavioral insights to drive and optimize innovative online marketing programs; working collaboratively with product teams to ensure customer touch points--web, mobile, email--are optimized for acquisition and retention; partnering with edX university and institutional members in collaborative marketing initiatives; and leading and growing a high quality marketing team to meet edX's strategic, revenue, and mission goals.

REQUIRED: five-plus years' progressive marketing experience in director of marketing role in a small, high-growth, fast-paced company or marketing manager in a large, fast-paced, online company; B.S./M.S. in business, marketing, communications, or related field; demonstrated success defining and executing data-driven customer and revenue growth strategies; experience managing acquisition and email programs; experience with and understanding of Google Analytics, SEM, SEO, mobile, CRM, A/B testing, landing page optimization, customer segmentation, and personalization; experience creating and presenting marketing strategy and business data; experience leading teams and fostering a culture of innovation, execution, collaboration, and accountability; and customer orientation.
