Job Description
The position is located in the Southeast Region - Atlanta, Georgia

Department Purpose: The purpose of this department is to manage key functions and/or projects within the Regional Marketing Department and the Southeast Region. Ability to effectively develop marketing strategies and implement associated tactics. Provide in-depth expertise and project / process management skills along with the development of staff / team members. Integrate specific processes, products, services together to achieve regional, department and company goals.

Scope of Position: The scope of this job is to support the strategic development and implementation of territory-level marketing plans, and to conduct individual agency-level marketing consultations to accelerate growth for the region and the individual agents. Consultants should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills - ability to interact effectively with agency owners, Sales leaders, and regional partners. Consultants should have the ability to effectively articulate the company's position on key business matters and consult with, influence, and educate internal clients on a broad range of Marketing processes and programs. And, the consultant will be held accountable for assisting with budgeting, planning and allocation processes for assigned local markets. Travel required - 30-35% of time.

Position Responsibilities:

The individual will be responsible for:

•Assisting in the development of marketing plans, timelines and metrics for territory-level programs and agency-level consultations

•Executing one-on-one marketing/customer experience consultations with segmented agencies within assigned territory/state.

•Communicating and leveraging market research data to the field

•Partnering with Sales, Controller and Product Management departments to determine research implications and approaches for each marketing program

•Gathering input from Sales and agents to monitor effective implementation and program management

•Program measurement; assessing the impact of programs and tactics on overall territory/state-level success.


Requirements

•Intermediate project management

•Beginner/Intermediate strategic and analytic skills

•Beginner/Intermediate relationship management and leadership skills.

•Knowledge of basic Marketing principles. Understanding and use of best practice techniques in order to ensure effective completion of project plans. (Intermediate)

•Strategic vision to identify opportunity areas, recommend possible data-based outcomes and action plans for multi-channel initiatives (Basic/Intermediate).

•Communication skills required to provide clear written and verbal communications and to present Marketing-focused topics to a wide range of both internal and external audiences in both small and large group settings. (Intermediate)

•Team work skills to work collaboratively across business units: (Beginner/Intermediate)

Experience Required: •Minimum of 3 years experience in Marketing or other related areas that may include communication, public relations and/or advertising agency support

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required

•Major Preference - Marketing, Advertising or Communications

Computer Proficiency: •Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
