Job Description
The Summer Internship Program that has been developed will assign students to one of our senior staff. All students will work on business projects suitable for a resume summary.

ARF Summer Interns are given a unique opportunity to work very closely with senior staff; something that is not possible in many organizations. Interns are really able to hone their project management and organizational skills through a wide variety of tasks.

The ARF is host to many events and interns are often able to attend meetings and events. Our events are packed with industry leaders, thus creating an excellent networking opportunity for our interns.

ARF staff will provide overviews of their areas and explain the role and context of student assignments. Questions and discussion will be encouraged. Lunchtime presentations will be held to introduce students to different business experiences among ARF staff.

The Summer Internship Program will be a 12 week program, starting on May 29th and concluding on August 24th. Spring Interns will be asked to work 20 hours/week and will be compensated at an hourly rate.

Interested students should send their resumes to jobs@thearf.org along with a cover letter identifying the areas of the ARF with which they are interested in working.

The intern will work directly with the President on secondary research collection, analysis and reporting on several selected hot & C-Level issues among global advertisers.

Primary Responsibilities: * Online Research * Synthesis of Gigabytes of Data * Story-Telling Reporting of Results * Other projects as assigned

Requirements
Primary Skills: * Outstanding organization and attention to detail * Savvy online research skills * Ability to synthesize large groups of data and information * Good oral and written communication skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities appropriately * Ability to work both collaboratively and independently * Motivated and proactive * Computer skills: Internet Proficiency, Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Other Qualifications: Intelligent, Possesses high level of integrity, happy nature, sophisticated, tireless sense of humor, no ego, direct, confident.
