Job Description
The Summer Internship Program that has been developed will assign students to one of our senior staff. All students will work on business projects suitable for a resume summary.

ARF Summer Interns are given a unique opportunity to work very closely with senior staff; something that is not possible in many organizations. Interns are really able to hone their project management and organizational skills through a wide variety of tasks.

The ARF is host to many events and interns are often able to attend meetings and events. Our events are packed with industry leaders, thus creating an excellent networking opportunity for our interns.

ARF staff will provide overviews of their areas and explain the role and context of student assignments. Questions and discussion will be encouraged. Lunchtime presentations will be held to introduce students to different business experiences among ARF staff.

The Summer Internship Program will be a 12 week program, starting on May 29th and concluding on August 24th. Spring Interns will be asked to work 20 hours/week and will be compensated at an hourly rate.

Interested students should send their resumes to jobs@thearf.org along with a cover letter identifying the areas of the ARF with which they are interested in working.

The ARF Marketing Department is responsible for developing and executing strategies that promote the ARF brand (website, member benefits and industry contribution) and drive attendance to its key events (Annual Conferences, Industry Leader Forums), and educate members on various resources (Knowledge Solutions resources, Forums, Webcasts, research services).

The ARF Marketing intern will gain a broader sense of the scope and needs of marketing within an organization. The intern will help execute marketing strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of existing marketing efforts, and work with the entire ARF staff to contribute to website stories. The intern will work on the Industry Leader Forum, Audience Measurement 7.0, and contribute to the website, and will have the opportunity to attend events and help out on-site.

Primary Responsibilities: • Assist in execution of marketing strategies for the ILF, Audience Measurement 7.0, and ARF member resources. • Work with ARF staff to contribute to homepage features • Track ARF PR • Work with vendors and partners on development of materials and advertising opportunities • Post-event attendee analysis • Research competitive organizations and their events/marketing efforts

Additional Salary Information: Paid at an hourly rate
