Job Summary Performs at an intermediate level, writing, coordinating and preparing proposals and presentations for downtown and suburban Chicago Investor Leasing, Retail, Capital Markets and Asset Services pursuit teams. Responsibilities include leading the strategy and development of new business pursuit deliverables for high-performing sales teams, managing Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, developing strong relationships with business partners and acting as a knowledge manager for the Midwest Marketing Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages entire pursuit development process from inception through completion, overseeing collateral development, maintaining a strong command of each project's status, while completing each in a timely manner.
Responsible for understanding, conceptualizing, and executing client-based projects.
Researches, resolves, coordinates and messages complex issues pertaining to RFP responses.
Reviews materials, proofreads content, ensures appropriate branding & approves materials for final distribution.
Collaborates with marketing peers (local and corporate), research, sales management and senior leadership on implementation of business development strategy, best practices and processes.
Acts as team knowledge manager for all proposal and pitch content.
Develops strong relationships with clients and business partners.
Provides excellent customer service, including responding promptly to client requests, meeting commitments, and managing demanding customer situations.
Assists in the preparation of monthly and quarterly marketing reports for management.
Assists in leading team initiatives around processes and best practices.
Other duties may be assigned.
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; Prior commercial real estate experience strongly preferred.
Qualifications: Exceptional written skills and story-telling ability required.
Excellent customer service and good verbal communications skills required.
Must have ability to communicate objectives and collaborate with key stakeholders.
Ability to lead, manage, and prioritize projects; meeting deadlines in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment and comfortable enforcing timelines across internal resources.
Highly collaborative self-starter, well organized, resourceful and flexible.
Intermediate skills with various software programs such as Creative Suite a plus.
Prior Commercial Real Estate Experience strongly preferred.
