Advertised Summary Job Description: Reporting to the Director of the Center of Technology Management (CTM), the Associate Director of Marketing and Development will play the role of managing all marketing and social media activities for the Center, assist in raising money from donations, grow the membership and assist in marketing events at CTM. The Associate Director will help recruit new mentors, develop marketing materials, cultivate new relationships with prospective corporate affiliates, and manage the CTM website design. This individual will also assist the Director in working with other schools at Columbia to develop interdisciplinary programs.
General Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience required. 3?5 years of related experience.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of three years of professional experience in a marketing or communications role with a focus on social media and demonstrated experience and expertise in writing and content development.
Preferred Qualifications: A master's degree in journalism or business, or equivalent experience, desirable. Experience with web content management systems. Familiarity with Columbia College and University, as an alumnus or through other relationship, is a significant plus.
