The Western Carolina University Athletic Department is accepting applications for the 2018-2019 Ticketing Operations/ Marketing Internship. This is a paid position, with primarily roles in assisting in generating ticket revenue, as well as ticketing and marketing operations.
Primary Responsibilities: •Generate ticket revenue for football, basketball and baseball through sales calls. •Group Sale Liaison. •Responsible for helping with day-to-day ticket office needs: which include, but not limited to: customer transactions, and pulling reports. •Game Day Management for both Ticket Office and Marketing Departments. •Help manage the Catamounts Kids Club •Expectation 40 hours a week, will include working some nights and weekends •Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Must have good communications skills; be reliable and professional. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
