The Wellington School is accepting applications for the position of Brand Marketing Manager.

This person will effectively coordinate and implement a strategic approach to brand marketing on behalf of The Wellington School with a wide range of key constituencies – students, faculty, alumni, parents, employers, business administration and other friends of The Wellington School.
The Brand Marketing Manager will interpret and analyze data (on students, engagement activities, campaigns etc.) and create reports to assist in decisions regarding programming, marketing and overall effectiveness.
Essential Job Functions
Ensure congruence of all projects with The Wellington School brand strategy.
Create, curate, and manage marketing content relevant to reaching our community members, ensuring that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
Develop and execute Digital and Social Media Marketing strategies.
Develop and deploy content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Coordinate email campaigns.
Monitor effectiveness of marketing campaigns and online activities.
Build a team of student “Digital Ambassadors” to build engagement with all constituencies.
Design and create data reports for leadership team.
Perform event marketing duties including the planning and coordination of all logistical aspects of each event, including signage, facility set-up, vendor involvement, printed materials, and all day-of-event activities.
Assist team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested.
Organize the production of branded items and print pieces.
Education and Experience
Proven work experience as a Project and/or Marketing Manager
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices
Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media
Background in CRM or content marketing platforms desirable
Technical knowledge of web publishing on platforms such as WordPress and MailChimp
Proven ability to track website performance and optimize spend
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Agency management experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
A bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience
Possess knowledge and experience in marketing
Ability to work seamlessly from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side of data
Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how platforms are best deployed in relevant scenarios
Evidence of event set up and management experience
Ability to guide co-workers when necessary (e.g. content development, creation and editing of content, online reputation management)
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in writing
Evidence of achievement in a team culture
Available to work some evenings and weekends
Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Manage challenging situations and communicate with internal stakeholders
Strong attention to detail
Capable of independent and strategic thinking
Engaged, flexible, motivated and success driven
