Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) This role will position UnitedHealthcare Community and State as an industry leader in delivering innovative solutions to members, providers, and stake holders of health care services. UnitedHealthcare Community & State will demonstrate its value proposition by building favorable relationships with community and faith-based organizations, non-profit groups, and government agencies that provide services to enrollees in public health care programs. Positions in this function are involved in developing market strategies to support products and drive membership / sales growth. Positions develop strategies and tactical plans to support consumer / member innovation, support new product and program launches, and combat competitive pressures. May analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program / project budgets. If you are located in Sacramento, San Diego, or Los Angeles CA you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:Development and execution of marketing plan for the Medi-Cal health planManagement of supervisor of community outreach field staffRepresent the health plan to community organizations and at meetingsDevelopment, editing of marketing materialsMaintenance of regulatory submissions required for marketing materials and plansAttendance at public meetings, conferences, etc where the health plan may have involvement
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher5+ years experience in field marketing / customer relations / market development or community outreach3+ years experience in the California market with strong relationships in state government, community based organizations and California Medicaid and Medicare 3+ years experience managing a teamExperience working in matrixed organizationsProficient in the use of MS Word and ExcelPreferred Qualifications:College degree in Business, Marketing or related fieldCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
